Finally Got to Make the Snowflake Quilt

I've long wanted to make this modern winter quilt, since I first saw it several years ago.  I finally got the chance, using soft and cozy flannel fabric from Stash Fabrics. It's Tula Pink's (follow her on Instagram, she's fun) "Holiday Homies" line from Free Spirit Fabrics; the pattern is by Modern Handcraft. Plus, I got the top done in time for a major snowstorm that left 12" in our yard. Quilts are Personal...and No More Google Listing

Since I launched my website last year, I’ve had a Google business listing and have received a variety of interesting phone calls. Some people are looking for fabric (wish I carried it!), others are driving through town and want to be sure to hit every quilt shop in the area.  I currently don’t have an in-person retail situation, but do appreciate the calls and jobs I’ve received. We know quilts are often heirlooms and items full of memories. Becoming a Bag Maker

I last wrote about how I became a quilter, and received a couple comments (thank you!) that didn't get approved until today. Apologies for that inattention. I made my first bags for Christmas gifts in 2019. These were Crescent tote bags with outer and inner zipper pockets. I was intrigued with the idea of making a tote  because I often saw great bag patterns and fabrics while following quilting sites. Welcome to Creekside Quilt Studio! I'm Tracey Harty and in recent years my interest in piecing quilts has become an obsession. So why not make it my gig?
